Stalker of the Marsh 2014

Hi, I went to the lower end of the marsh this morning and found this Great Blue Heron feeding along the edge of the Beaver pond. I found a spot to hide in along the shoreline, just inside the tree line and waited for it to feed closer to me. This was the closest it came. After stopping here, it flew up into a big dead pine tree and just perched there. I left after about a 1/2 hour, with no other activity from this one.
