Haha, he's definitely a little bit grumpy about feeding time being interrupted. Gorgeous bird, what a great close up shot you got here. I read your (rather worrying) journal this morning so I have to ask - seen any of these guys yet this year? It's a real shame and rather eerie how they're all slowly disappearing. I'm starting to miss the numbers of birds here too, especially the summer migrants from Africa. Although rather than insecticides, I'm afraid it's the indiscriminate bird shooting in the Mediterranean that's slowly robbing us of our dearly beloved summer songbirds...
