Kestrel 2011

I had the day off from work, so I went out this morning and saw this little Kestrel as it was hunting grasshoppers in the field. It was sitting on an old fence post, but when I tried to sneak up on it , well typical with my luck, it just flew off into the trees. I watched where it went and grabbed this shot before it just flew away across the field and over the tree line.
