Hi, 
Well today was overcast,with a good chance of snow flurries.So I went out to see what I could find while I had somewhat decent light. I went down to the culvert that feeds my smaller marsh and waited by the only open water on this stretch. It didn't take long before this little Mink comes zipping out of the stream from under the ice,and I got this pic.He heard my camera shutter,or spotted me, because he turned tail and I got 1 other pic of him.The whole thing was over in about 3 seconds! Check the time of the shots....2 1/2 second interval between this pic and the other one "dive"!
I saw a few Deer on the far reaches of the marsh feeding on the twigs, but other than that nothing else.

I've never seen one here in Indiana. It doesn't mean that they're not here; but I live in an urban area and there is plenty of farmland here in Indiana where they could thrive without me ever knowing it.
