Fawns Happy Birthday.. Yipeee

Hi, After dinner, I went for a walk at the farm and found this new born Fawn.As I was coming around the field corner, I spooked a doe at the tall grass edge. Next thing I know this Little fawn comes out of the tall grass and runs up to me! I think it mistook me for Momma as I was in my brown camo outfit.
I know it was only born this morning because it was real unsteady on it's feet. It came so close that I was able to gently pat it... man this little one was so skinny, you could feel the rib bones, and it's fur felt a little damp.The fawn was about as big as a large house cat! well I took a few pics, and then herded it back towards the tall grass and weeds so it could be safe and I know Mom would be looking for it there.

I love it when Nature shines down on you and gives up a special treat such as this!!!!
